ENERGIES OF THE WEEK NOVEMBER 2–8, 2026✨🌀💎
MERCURY CAZIMI, VENUS SEXTILE JUPITER
November is here, inviting us to discern what is worth preserving, what needs to be transformed, and what it is time to leave behind. It asks us to acknowledge what lies beyond our control and find the courage to embrace something different wherever change is necessary.
With the Sun transiting Scorpio, a powerful New Moon taking place in this sign on November 9, and Mercury and Venus completing their retrograde journeys on November 13 and 14 respectively, the first part of the month remains a period of deeper exploration, revelations, and reassessment. Before moving forward, we need to understand what truly holds value for us and which choices reflect who we are becoming.
Relationships, values, desires, financial decisions, and the way we handle our personal power come under scrutiny, allowing us to recognize what is being sustained by fear, insecurity, or habit.
As the month progresses, the Mars–Jupiter conjunction at 25° Leo on November 16 brings together willpower and ambition with vision and the desire for expansion. However, their alignment with the South Node lends this dynamic a karmic dimension, setting certain conditions in motion and bringing consequences.
As the Sun enters Sagittarius on November 22, our horizons begin to expand and as the Full Moon in Gemini reaches its culmination on November 24, we are invited to make room for new ideas, different perspectives, and alternative versions of ourselves and the world around us.
Of particular interest during the first week of the month is the activation of August’s Total Solar Eclipse by Mars, transiting 20° Leo, the very degree of the eclipse. This transit may trigger developments in matters that first emerged around the eclipse, intensify existing pressures, and bring confrontations or challenges involving leadership, recognition, creativity, personal expression, or the desire to assert control.
Those with significant natal placements between 17° and 23° of the Fixed signs, Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, and Aquarius, are likely to feel this activation more directly, with Mars acting as a catalyst for issues set in motion by the Solar Eclipse.
This energy can find constructive expression through courage, assertiveness, and initiative, or manifest more confrontationally through impulsiveness, competitiveness, and attempts to gain the upper hand, depending always on the individual birth chart and the area of life being activated.
Meanwhile, from the beginning of the month, Venus begins to become visible once again as a0 Morning Star, moving away from the Sun’s rays and gradually reclaiming her symbolic autonomy. Values, relationships, desires, and our ability to recognize what we truly love begin to gain greater clarity and we may also experience the first realization of what has changed within us.
However, this emerging clarity does not mean that the process of reassessment is complete. Venus remains retrograde, and so we may begin to see the truth of a relationship or desire without yet being ready to decide what to do about it.
✨🌀The week opens with the Last Quarter Moon 🌗 at 9°25′ Leo ♌ on Sunday, November 1. As the Moon squares the Sun in Scorpio, which is itself in a quincunx aspect to Saturn, we may experience a conflict between the need to express what we want and the demand to face reality with maturity and responsibility.
This is a lunar phase associated with evaluation and release and it is the right moment to acknowledge and release suppressed desires, fears of exposure, reluctance to take initiative or assert ourselves, and even the need to impose our will without accepting responsibility for our actions. The Moon’s trine to Saturn helps us navigate these tensions with greater self-control, consistency, and a stronger sense of responsibility.
✨🌀On Wednesday, November 4, the two benefic planets, Venus and Jupiter, form a sextile at 24° Libra and Leo, an aspect that will repeat toward the end of the month, on November 28, with Venus now direct.
This favourable and expansive influence offers opportunities for reconciliation, reconnection, romance, creativity, joy, generosity, and the restoration of trust. It can rekindle the flame of love, bring benefits through past connections, or even present an opportunity we thought we had lost.
Our willingness to see the bigger picture, renew ourselves, and restore greater balance can prove supportive, provided we do not return to old patterns of relating or familiar compromises simply because they feel comfortable.
Venus retrograde in Libra is not merely asking us to reconsider what we love, but also how we love. How much room do we allow ourselves within relationships? When does compromise come at the expense of our personal needs? What is fair, and what is merely reciprocal?
This period offers opportunities for significant realizations and restoration, particularly for the Fire and Air signs.
On the same day, retrograde Mercury makes its Inferior Conjunction with the Sun at 12° Scorpio. This Mercury Cazimi 🎇♏brings a deeper understanding and a different perspective on matters involving trust, emotional and financial investments, control, and power.
This is a particularly fertile moment within Mercury’s retrograde cycle, offering us the opportunity to recover lost information, reconnect with past skills, and plant the seeds for plans and changes we wish to implement once Mercury turns direct around the middle of the month.
We now have greater psychological insight and the ability to delve into issues that concern us, uncovering secrets and truths hidden behind narratives, fears concealed behind defences, and beliefs that have shaped the way we interpret situations.
This is a moment when we can acknowledge what we have been avoiding, reconsider old beliefs, forgive past mistakes, and break free from cycles of obsession and attachment that may have preceded the Cazimi.
We may not yet have all the answers, but the power of this conjunction lies in honest inquiry and meaningful revelation, helping us move beyond suspicion and prejudice.
Greater focus, the intention to change our habits and patterns of communication, or even embarking on a new course of study, may also be among the benefits of this new Mercury cycle.
The following days offer a relative pause in major planetary aspects, giving us the space to process what has been activated and brought to light.
✨🌀Meanwhile on Thursday, November 5, Mars enters its pre-retrograde shadow at 20°55′ Leo, ahead of its major retrograde cycle, which will last from January 10 to April 1.
As the planet of will and action will return to this degree in the new year, anything initiated now may need to be reassessed in response to changes unfolding over the coming months. For this reason, we need to pay attention to the events emerging, as they are likely to remain relevant for some time.
✨🌀On Saturday, November 7, as the Moon transits Libra, it meets retrograde Venus and forms harmonious aspects with Jupiter, Mars, and the South Node in Leo. This creates favourable conditions for reassessing relationships, desires, and needs, while also restoring communication and balance wherever distance or misunderstandings may have developed.
Libra helps us understand the other side of a situation, while Venus retrograde in this sign encourages us to recognize where excessive accommodation or procrastination may have created difficulties in our relationships and lives.
The Moon’s conjunction with retrograde Venus may bring opportunities for reconnection and reconciliation, as well as the possibility of reconsidering a previous attitude or gaining a deeper understanding of what keeps us in a relationship. This time, we can approach these matters with greater awareness, recognizing what has changed within us.
The Moon’s sextiles to Jupiter and Mars in Leo add warmth, generosity, enthusiasm, and the courage to express what we feel. Its connection with the South Node may also help us distinguish what still holds value from what belongs to an older way of relating.
The desire for social interaction, companionship, and connection will be particularly strong over this weekend. We can make use of this energy to reconnect with people from our past, express our feelings, and rebuild bridges of communication.
This time, however, we can choose a different way of connecting. We can draw closer without losing ourselves, listen without invalidating our own truth, and reconcile without returning to old compromises.
As the week draws to a close, our attention turns to the New Moon taking place in Scorpio on November 9, inviting us to begin from a different inner starting point. It asks us to acknowledge our fear of loss, the sense of security rooted in control, and the needs we have not dared to express.
A New Moon that offers space for meaningful exploration and rebirth, while carrying a powerful seed of creation.✨
Wishing you a blessed week
and a blessed month ahead!✨🎇💎🕊☮
With love💓💓💓
