SOLAR ECLIPSE – NEW MOON IN AQUARIUS ✨🌑🎇♒

    FEBRUARY 17, 2026

    “3, 2, 1… Go!”

This Gateway will not ask you merely what you feel, but above all, where you belong and what you are ready to release to remain true to yourself.

As a New Moon and at the same time an eclipse, it will not give birth instantly.
First, it will bring disconnection, deconstruction, and rupture, creating space for something new and more aligned to emerge.

Whatever cannot stand in the new Era will not pass through this threshold. And whatever does pass, will not remain the same.

The annular Solar Eclipse and New Moon at 28°49’ Aquarius, on February 17, 2026, 14:00 time for Greece, marks the beginning of a new eclipse series along the Leo–Aquarius axis that will unfold through 2028. It reactivates a collective storyline we have not experienced since 2019.

This is a Gateway that shifts a specific area of our lives, something within the collective field and also our place within it. It changes how we see the world, and how we perceive ourselves in relation to it.

During a Solar eclipse, the Moon moves in front of the Sun, obscuring its light and casting a shadow over consciousness and life force itself. It is a cosmic reset and a reprogramming within the very flow of life.

As this interruption takes place in progressive, humanitarian Aquarius, the emphasis falls on the collective identity and awareness. It concerns communities, groups, political systems, technological evolution, and our vision for the future, all of which we are called to see under a new light.

    What must we do differently?
Which systems, institutions, and collective structures have fulfilled their purpose yet no longer serve our evolution?

On a personal level, where must you withdraw your consent? Where are you being called to stand apart? Which shared visions have lost their meaning? Which roles, friendships, or ideologies are maintained out of habit, dogma, or for the “benefit” of a group, yet no longer foster growth?

Recent conjunctions of Pluto in Aquarius with the personal planets and the Luminaries have prepared us for this transformation. Furthermore, the Eclipse occurs at an anaretic degree, a degree of culmination, consequence, and awareness. There is fatigue here, but also maturity and delay is no longer an option.

Uranus, the modern ruler of Aquarius, forms a tight square to the eclipse, intensifying its destabilizing force and bringing shocks to consciousness and sudden turns of fate.

Positioned in Taurus and particularly in the highly charged 27th degree, Uranus directs this revolutionary energy into the material realm: finances, labour possessions, natural resources, the body, land, environment, food supply, security. These areas may undergo trials and awakenings.

On a personal level, your beliefs or long-held vision may clash with reality, with your habits, attachments and the life structures you have built for safety and stability.

However, the future can change only if you acknowledge that much of this must change. Uranus arrives now to awaken and liberate you.

This is the moment to doubt what you once accepted unquestioningly, what kept you bound to outdated structures and the illusion of control.

It is time for a meaningful reset in relationships, commitments, plans, and roles.

The ground may tremble, especially for those with placements in the final degrees of the fixed signs (Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius). Yet this energy rewards authenticity. If you remain faithful to your inner truth and release what no longer aligns, upheaval becomes liberation.

Saturn, the traditional ruler of Aquarius, now at 0° Aries in a rare conjunction with Neptune, three days later, and in sextile to Uranus and Pluto, acts as the architect of this new cycle. Saturn gives structure where there was confusion and stability where rupture occurred.

He supports changes made with courage, patience, and realism, calling us to embody a more authentic version of ourselves and take full responsibility for our path.

This Eclipse is also aligned with the North Node, marking the opening of a new life cycle. We are invited to align with a new direction, leaving behind the familiar, old identities and limiting roles that no longer promote evolution.

With the North Node conjunct Venus in Pisces, in her exaltation, growth comes through transcendent love, empathy, compassion, forgiveness, and surrender to the flow. Through people who enter our lives now, with a sense of destiny. Through paths chosen by the heart, even when the outcome is unknown.

Venus, visible as the Evening Star, operates with heightened confidence and awareness of her worth. She offers her gifts more generously: love, creativity, beauty, financial abundance, value and self-esteem.

While moving toward a trine with retrograde Jupiter in Cancer and a conjunction with Mercury, Venus offers hope, optimism, perspective, and protection amid destabilization.

We are supported. We can believe again. We can invest in what truly nourishes the soul, especially if significant placements of the natal chart fall at the end of the first or within the second decan of the Water and Earth signs.

Within the chaos, guidance is present.
And this time, the heart is the compass.

The Sabian symbol of the North Node and Venus  “A Jockey”  is strikingly synchronous, especially as the eclipse coincides with the beginning of the new Lunar Year, the Year of the Fire Horse. The imagery speaks of momentum, courage, risk, and the start of a new race. It’s all about alignment with a greater force that grants direction and leads to victory when perfect synchronization is achieved.

With Venus and the North Node here, we must ask: Which desire deserves our energy? Which love deserves commitment? For which vision are we willing to run?

The Sabian symbol for the degree of the Eclipse “A Butterfly Emerging from a Chrysalis”, is one of the most profound symbols of irreversible transformation in the zodiac.

It is a birth. A revelation. The process is complete, and the butterfly emerges.

At the final degree of Aquarius, the soul has detached from old structures and no longer fits into outdated molds. It is preparing to exist differently. Yet this emergence happens during an Eclipse when the light temporarily fades, and the new identity has not fully   stabilized. It is as if we step into a new way of being without instructions, learning how to fly in real time.

We stand at the end of old security, carrying the gifts of new consciousness, identity, and freedom.

This Eclipse asks you to reveal yourself as you are, after everything that dismantled and reshaped you.

If you have passed through isolation, if you feel vulnerable yet somehow more authentic than ever, this symbol encourages you:

Step out even if your wings tremble.
You are no longer who you once were.

Trust your new form. Trust your new life.  You do not need to know how to fly, only that you were born for the sky!✨

    Blessed passage
and a luminous and inspired New Lunar Year to all!✨🌑🎇🕊☮

    With love💓💓💓
