FULL MOON IN LEO✨🌕♌
February 1-2, 2026
”On the Edge of Fall and Rise”
This is a fiery, revelatory, and karmic Full Moon, illuminating themes that will be fully activated by the upcoming eclipses and the Lunar Nodes moving through the Leo–Aquarius axis over the next two years.
The Full Moon occurs at 13°03’ Leo on February 2, at 00:08 (time for Greece), directly opposing five celestial bodies in Aquarius, all of which have already formed conjunctions with Pluto. This is neither a neutral nor a low-key lunation. It carries the unmistakable omens of a deeply transformative period.
An era that will strengthen collectives and empower people, emphasizing political and social reform, technological advancement, and activism. A time with crises that makes the protection of human rights, freedom, equality, and labor imperative, especially in the face of automation, dehumanization, loss of privacy, the unchecked power of new technologies and artificial intelligence, and the rise of political, economic, and technological oligarchies.
The Leo–Aquarius axis, activated by this Full Moon, asks us to redefine our personal truth within a world undergoing radical change. It invites us to examine where we sacrificed our heart and unique gifts to belong and where the ego still refuses to participate in something collective, progressive, and future-oriented.
This is also a moment to reflect on what others ask of us, friends, groups, communities, technology, society, and future visions, and how we can contribute without losing our unique identity.
Leo seeks to express the heart and its creative fire, to be seen, recognized, and leave a personal imprint. Aquarius, on the other hand, calls for detachment, vision, collective consciousness, connection to the future, and participation in something greater than the individual.
This Full Moon asks you to see where your personal light serves the collective, and where it risks becoming trapped in the need for validation.
To discern whether the collective vision truly supports you or whether it ultimately subjugates you to impersonal systems.
It is time to recognize what you are proud of, what still excites you and is worth investing in, and where recognition has been lacking, signalling the need to withdraw your energy.
It is time to see with whom you share common dreams and how you can move forward together, contributing while setting clear and conscious personal boundaries.
The feedback offered by this Full Moon allows you to celebrate personal achievements in the area of life ruled by Leo, while also identifying choices, relationships, and commitments that deprive you of joy, creativity, authenticity, and genuine connection, making space for the necessary release.
The stellium of the Sun, Venus, Mercury, and Mars in Aquarius, marked by their conjunctions with Pluto, carries knowledge that cannot be forgotten. This is a profoundly transformative energy, intense and awakening, that does not allow superficial change.
The Sun has encountered the experience of identity deconstruction. Venus has gazed into the abyss of relationships and self-worth. Mercury now speaks with depth, gravity, and meaning. Mars understands both the cost of power and the necessity of breaking old chains.
On a personal level, this is the moment when you can no longer ignore who or what controls you, nor suppress your voice and desire for authentic existence. There is a pressing need to reclaim your power, even if that means rupture or separation.
On a collective level, the same energy may manifest through debates, confrontations with political, economic, and technological systems and social unrest aimed at challenging control so societies can evolve under fairer conditions and express their needs more authentically.
The conjunction of Mercury and Venus in Aquarius allows us to view reality more objectively, understand relational dynamics, and recognize the social patterns shaping our lives. It encourages us to think and love with less dependency and more freedom, find support through community, and open ourselves to new possibilities.
At the same time, the sextiles of Mercury and Venus to Chiron in Aries provide meaningful opportunities for healing and support within this volatile landscape. Words can heal, conversations can unlock old wounds, and relationships can become mirrors of self-awareness, reminding us of our inherent value.
All this unfolds while the Moon forms challenging aspects with Saturn and Neptune, potentially bringing emotional blockages, uncertainty, and inner confusion. The desire for expression and creativity may encounter fear, limitation, doubt, or escapism. Yet this is also a call to take responsibility for our emotional world, to distinguish dream from illusion, and remain grounded and present amid the storm of change.
The shadow of Leo, often accompanying its brilliance, may also appear here and may intensify throughout the year, particularly through the eclipses and later, during the second half of the year, when the South Node, Jupiter, and Mars enter Leo and form a conjunction in November.
The need for recognition and validation within the proud archetype of Leo can easily turn into vanity, arrogance, and narcissism. Personal light may become a display of power, and leadership may turn into theatricality and public showmanship. Within this context, the hubris of those who hold positions of authority or enjoy public visibility may be exposed, leading to more falls from the pedestal.
However, the Moon’s parallel with the fixed star Arcturus points to the awakening of inner wisdom, protection through trials, and the ability to listen to the voice of the soul and act with a sense of purpose, without needing external validation.
Simultaneously, the Sun’s parallel with Sirius, the spiritual Sun, reflects our alignment with higher intelligence and emerging evolutionary cycles.
Altogether, we are being guided personally toward a more authentic expression of self, and collectively toward new forms of leadership, ones that will replace those no longer aligned with the evolutionary current of our time.
This Full Moon in Leo stands as a threshold to a new era, inviting us to stand courageously between heart and system and to ask whether we choose to shine to illuminate or merely to be applauded.
It is time to claim our truth without losing our humanity, and to actively participate in shaping a new collective vision, one in which personal light is not diminished, but finds meaning and purpose within the whole.
The Sabian Symbol for the Moon, “The human soul awaiting opportunity for expression,” speaks of anticipation, a phase in which the soul knows who it is, what haw lived through, endured, and carries, yet waits for the right conditions and timing to reveal itself.
This stage may bring feelings of stagnation, inner pressure, and restlessness. Yet waiting is preparation and gathering of strength. The soul knows that once it speaks, everything will change, but for now, it is called to trust the process and accept limitations as a necessary stage.
The Sabian Symbol for the Sun, “A train entering a tunnel,” suggests that conscious understanding and will may currently be limited. We cannot clearly see where we are headed or when we will emerge, but the path has already been set.
The Sun indicates a passage through darkness, conditions requiring patience and adaptation. Yet we are on the right track.
What the soul will eventually express will be born from within this tunnel, and the light that follows will find it transformed.
It is no coincidence that this Full Moon, with such symbolism, is the last to close the Year of the Snake.
The wisdom of the Snake is not revealed before completion, and everything learned during this year now requires silent integration.
We do not enter the Year of the Horse abruptly. We must accept the darkness of transition the tunnel, the preparation, the gestation.
The final Full Moon in the Year of the Snake asks for presence, not rushed actions or decisions.
The lunar year closes with trust in transition rather than control.
Soon, the Horse will gallop. New energy will bring speed and initiative, and the Aquarius New Moon Eclipse will demand active participation, a clear position, and a defined role.
Until then, there is nothing to prove.
It is enough to remember who you are because that is exactly what will be needed when the path opens.✨
Blessed Full Moon to all!✨🌕🦁🎇🕊☮
With love💓💓💓
