    NEW MOON IN VIRGO✨🌙♍

    SEPTEMBER 11, 2026

    “Weave Your Magic”

A fresh canvas is being offered to us now, in the area ruled by Virgo.

The New Moon, forming at 18°25’ Virgo on September 11, 2026, at 6:26 a.m. time for Greece, is the first New Moon following the recent eclipses and the beginning of a new lunar cycle, no longer accompanied by the South Node of the Moon in Virgo.

We are stepping into a period without the same evolutionary pressure, instability, and karmic lessons that we have experienced here over the past two years.

This New Moon, however, is part of a larger story. Six months from now, this cycle will culminate in the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo.

For now, we have the opportunity to set our intentions for new beginnings in this area of our lives, from a new level of awareness of our desires, goals, and direction.

After the recent eclipses and Uranus squares, something has been released. We may be freeing ourselves from karmic burdens, old choices, and patterns that have kept us from moving forward. And with that freedom comes the possibility of choosing differently.

Virgo understands that every great creation is built through small, consistent acts.

Through daily life. Through dedication, care, work, and service.

It is the archetype that helps us develop skills and systems, organise our lives, make meaningful improvements, and heal what needs healing.

With this New Moon directly affecting the Mutable signs, Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, and Pisces, particularly those with placements around 14°–22°, we are allowed to learn and experiment with something new, change our routines and dietary habits, and discover new tools and practices that can enhance our quality of life and support us both physically and emotionally.

It may also be especially meaningful that this New Moon is conjunct the asteroids Circe and Pythia, two archetypes that understand that true power often lies beneath what appears on the surface.

Circe knows the art of alchemy and transformation. She understands that the same thing can become either medicine or poison, depending on how we choose to use it.

Pythia, meanwhile, represents the wisdom that rises from the unconscious, the kind of knowledge that reveals what the surface of things cannot show us.

This New Moon seems to invite us to reconnect with powers we already possess: to take what is already present in our lives and give it a new form, while paying attention to the signs around us and allowing deeper wisdom to guide the transformation we need.

And perhaps, after the eclipses, this is exactly the energy we need.

It is an ideal time to trust our intuition, the wisdom of the body, our abilities, and the healing power of nature something the Virgo archetype connects us to in such a profound and tangible way.

With the Sun and Moon forming a harmonious sextile with Mars in Cancer, we also have the opportunity to turn intention into action.

Mars may be in its fall in Cancer, but this does not mean that it is without strength. Its power simply expresses itself differently. It is not the force of aggression, but the force of protection, the strength of one who fights for something they love, their home, their people, their sense of safety, and their emotional integrity.

There may be an invitation here to care for and protect whatever is precious or vulnerable to us.

The ruler of the New Moon, Mercury, is at 0° Libra, a position that offers us a new way of seeing things, communicating, and relating to others, with greater diplomacy, harmony, and balance.

Mercury in Libra allows us to understand another person’s perspective. This can help us find common ground in our relationships, reconcile differences, and communicate our message with greater ease.

Most importantly, Mercury sits at the apex of a harmonious Kite formation, offering additional support and protection around matters of communication.

More precisely, the Grand Trine formed between Mercury, Uranus in Gemini, and Pluto in Aquarius creates an exceptionally powerful mental current, one capable of bringing new ideas, fresh perspectives, and truths that we were previously unable to see.

Uranus is now stationary, preparing to turn retrograde, while Pluto is also retrograde. This suggests that the change taking place is not only about the future. Something from the past may be returning so that we can see it, understand it, and handle it differently this time.

The stationary Uranus may intensify feelings of tension and anxiety during these days, but its disruptive energy also has a purpose: to break old patterns, challenge established norms, and free us from outdated structures.

Through Mercury’s trine to Uranus, we may experience breakthrough ideas, unexpected news, and conversations with people who can offer solutions, alternatives, or entirely new pathways.

Mercury’s trine to Pluto, meanwhile, encourages us to go deeper, to understand motivations, uncover the “why” behind decisions, and confront truths that may have been hidden beneath the surface.

This is a particularly powerful energy for those with Air sign placements in the first decan, who can use it to share their ideas, negotiate successfully, give presentations, make agreements, and seek the guidance, advice, or support they need.

Yet Mercury is also opposing retrograde Neptune in Aries, reminding us that a message can become either inspiration and compassion or illusion and an escape from reality.

This is why we will need Virgo’s discernment and analytical intelligence, together with honesty and clear boundaries, so that we do not mistake what we wish to believe for what is actually true.

There is another important story unfolding through Venus.

At the time of this New Moon, Venus has just entered 0° Scorpio and is already moving through the shadow of its upcoming retrograde journey, which begins on October 3.

At the same time, Venus is opposing Chiron in Taurus and moving toward a square with Pluto in Aquarius, creating a T-square that touches deeply on themes of self-worth, security, relationships, desires, and personal value.

Chiron may bring old wounds to the surface around whether we are worthy of being loved, valued, or having what we truly desire.

Pluto, meanwhile, asks us to examine our attachments, our fear of loss, our need for control, and the relationships or dynamics that may no longer support our evolution.

This T-square seems to invite us to move beyond the need for security and toward truth and ultimately toward liberation from whatever no longer belongs in our lives.

It may also ask us to close old agreements and release outdated emotional contracts.

For this reason, whatever begins to move now in matters of relationships, finances, values, and desires may not have spoken its final word.

Retrograde Venus will bring us back to these themes so that we can examine them more deeply and recognize what is truly worth keeping.

The Sabian Symbol of this New Moon is “A Swimming Race.”

It presents us with the image of people entering the water and swimming, each with their own strength, rhythm, and endurance.

Perhaps the lesson here is not about coming first, nor about measuring our worth against the progress of others.

It is about knowing our own rhythm, trusting what we have learned, and continuing with discipline and perseverance, without exhausting ourselves in the process.

Perhaps this time, we are not swimming simply to win. We are swimming toward something we have consciously chosen to create.

The New Moon in Virgo arrives at precisely the moment when we need to give form to what has taken on new meaning after the eclipses.

It calls us back to the body, to daily life, and to the small acts that, when practiced consistently, can transform an entire life.

This is the moment to recognize what truly works, release what weakens us, and stop waiting for the perfect moment.

Because real transformation can begin with something very small. A new habit. A different choice. An act of care. A boundary we finally choose to set. Or a truth we are finally ready to acknowledge.

After everything the eclipses have revealed, everything that has ended, shifted, and transformed, we do not need to know the entire path ahead.

We only need to trust what we have learned and take the next step.

To take what is already in our hands and give it form, direction, and meaning.

And perhaps this is our own kind of magic.✨

May this New Moon bless you with clarity, healing, and the courage to weave something new from everything you have learned.✨🎇🌙💎🕊☮

    With love💓💓💓
